Would anyone move #7 to the Jets for #17, #25 and a player?

I was thinking about all the teams that have multiple 1st round picks. It would depend upon the player coming back for me to say yes. But I do like the idea of picking 3 times in this first round.

Back in 2007, Edmonton had the number 6, 15 and 21 picks. They offered the 6 and 21 to the Flyers for the 2nd overall. The Flyers told them to make it all three picks and they could have the 2nd. Edmonton declined.

Had the trade happened, the Flyers would have taken Jakub Voracek with the sixth overall. Ryan McDonagh would have been the guy atop their list next but he was gone at 12th to Montreal, so the Flyers would have had to take someone else. Not sure where they would have gone with it, or the 21st.

That would have been sweet.

Edit: I'd offer both of our firsts and any prospect we have to Buffalo for #2 overall, but it ain't gonna happen.

Anyone else have to do mandatory ethics class once a year for their respective job industry?
- benjichronic

I'm in the newspaper industry, there hasn't been a whiff of ethics since the late 70s.

Ethics and Business, especially in the Financial Industry, is just so (frank)ing hilarious because it's such a (frank)ing waste of time. Ethics and Morality are great classroom subjects/debates, but they really are not all that applicable outside of college. (although they should be)

Yup. And it is a complete and total waste of time. Exact same lecture/examples every (frank)ing year.

Yep.. and my employer never follows through on punishing violators of the policy anyway, so why bother? If you aren't going to actually abide by what you say, then don't waste my time with all this mindless "training."

Ethics was the best course I ever took. My professor spent an entire class showing Carlin standup to point out the hypocrisies of the world.

wow surprised they didn't think 6 and 21 was worth 2 in that draft. Interesting they had McDonagh on their board at that point. maybe it gives me hope they have the lastest crop of dmen right

Still my fav.

I remember when he died and HBO played all of his specials in a row. I stayed up all night watching them.

He did some poop that was so amazing. I don't think there will ever be a better opener than "how come all these anti abortion crusaders are women you wouldn't want to (frank) in the first place"

Holy poop it really is every single year, the same damn thing.

(direct from book) Example A: Frank is an elderly client. he trusts you, and buys any insurance policy you recommend. You are behind on your yearly goals, and Frank's renewal is coming up. You quote 3 extra insurance policies that he doesn't need, but you know that you could sell them to him, and if you do, you meet your yearly goal. Is it unethical for you to sell those policies?

Well no poop that's unethical...

When it comes to ethics in financial industries (insurance for me), it's honestly common sense. Could this action you're about to make (frank) over your client? Could it (frank) over the company you work for? Could you (frank) yourself over? Is it straight up illegal. If you answer yes to any of those, it's probably not a good idea. if you even have to go through those questions in your head... you should proabaly take a different route either way.

and on a side note- leafs writer says one of the 8 destinations kessel would go to is philly. I know I'm personally not intrigued by it, huge cap hit, giving up assets, his lack of playing defense. That being said, if it happened, I wouldn't be all that pissed (assuming the leafs didn't fleece us)
