They're called 'traps' for obvious reasons. |

I think you are probably correct. id like to see a little more than that but gotta be realistic. If someone steps up in camp they might make another but doubtful. |

#Canucks with 1 pick in first 3 rounds of draft yet interviewed 65/120 kids combine. Sounds like a GM who plans on having a few more picks"
That said, I would say it's a fair assumption.

Two for sure I think, I think the goalie dominos will start to fall when Talbot is traded, apparently he's a hot commodity. Then you have the OTT goalies as well.

Posted yesterday but here's how I value some of our players on the trade market (if traded on their own):
Lack - 2nd
Markstrom - 4th
Bieksa - 2nd (possibly a late 1st if some team likes his interview skills)
Higgins - 3rd or 4th
Hansen - late 2nd or 3rd
Vey - maybe a 2nd, definitely a 3rd
Burrows - maybe a 5th or 6th but more likely a salary dump if anything
Of those guys, I'd say Bieksa, Lack, and Higgins are the most likely to leave IMO. Burrows and Bieksa should be prime targets for trading though. |

At least a 3rd for Markstrom or keep him. |

I'd throw Bonino in there. With a lot of teams having cap issues he's a pretty valuable trade chip due to his low cap hit. I don't see him as the long-term solution for a our 2nd line. I'd rather deal him and get some assets back whether it be prospects or picks or even just a hockey trade. |

Problem with that is Matthias will probably walk as a UFA, Vey is still unproven. The team is still somewhat weak at center on the NHL level. |

I'm not against trading Bonino in a hockey trade if there's a Dman coming back. My thoughts on Bonino for this season was to start as the 3C. I think it's clear to all that Horvat should move up to 2C this season and Bonion might do well against weaker opposition. |

Horvat... he was that during the playoffs basically.
i'd try to free up cap space by dealing Bieksa, higgins, etc to free up cap space to maybe go after a soderberg, vermette, stoll as our 3rd line centre |

Maybe, but he would probably be better off moving up to 3C at least to start the season. Soderberg could be an interesting addition to the Ikea crowd at 6'3 216. The return for Bonino would have to be real good.

Soderberg is a good fit, and Benning knows him. He'll likely target Bartkowski as well. |
