You should see the leafs blog offers lol. Kessel and bernier for risto, moulson, Reinhart a 2015 2nd and a 2016 1st is the best one lol.
- Fattony1187

A fair offer for him would be something like

21st pick 1st in 16' Baptiste Grigerenko and Zadorov

I don't think I'd do it with his age and slowness.

That's too much, 21, 31 this year and Grigorenko is all I would offer for that contract and how he played last year.

Now their offer was lowered to girgensons, zadorov, 2015 2nd, 2016 1st. They sure love to drink crappy beer up there.

Kessel slow? He may be out of shape but his speed was never a question. He's got wheels. His defensive play is horrendous/nonexistent.

I'd rather not help the Leafs out, honestly. Let them suffer with those terrible contracts they hand out.

Their media has gotten them crazy regarding his value. Do they realize that he has a NTC so right now there are only 8 teams he can be traded to? Small market not to mention he played like crap last year, and is uncoachable.

I know 99% of these guys have no sources. There was one a couple years ago who used to steal his his "inside" info from Homer and another poster with inside info here and 5 mins later he'd tweet as his own.

That is an astute trade proposal, the Leafs have to understand that his contract "devalues" him, and you can't get equal talent back, when you are getting young ELCs in return other than Grigerenko. Getting Two picks in the top 31 is solid, They could bundle them and get into 15 if they so choose. Funny thing about Kessel, if he looked, "Cool" and did what he does on the ice, everyone would be drooling, I don't care what he looks like, I know what he does on the ice and the man has Legit wheels and a golden shot. I wouldn't mind him here at all.

I don't know how they'd get a goalie though unless 51 + was able to round one up.

It's about what he doesn't do on the ice that has gotten him run out of town.

I'd take him here, but I really don't like the Leafs supposed asking price.

I agree, he is a defensive liability, but Bylsma will have to place him around Great Two Way forwards in Girgensens and Kane. Its ok to have one or two offensive guys, everyone isn't going to be two way players, and Kessell has 8 seasons of 20+gaols 5+30goals and I see him producing for another 4-5 years. I don't think Patrick Kane or Tarsenko would be great Defensive Forwards either

At this point I wouldn't be apposed to a lineup of

Ennis Eichel Kane
Moulson Reinhart Baptiste
Foligino Girgensons Gionta
DeSlauries Larson McCormick

Ristolainen Zadorov
Pysyk Bogosian
Gorges ?
Weber

?
?

While I'd like to add offensive talent I think Baptiste could work well with Reinhart and Moulson and be the goal scorer that line needs. We need D depth I'd love to see us fork out the cash fr Odyu

I think they may start Eichel and Reinhart out on the wing.

I don't see that happening at least with Eichel.

Ennis is a full time winger now. I don't see the point both are pure centers.

Starting them out on the wing makes it easier for them , once they're more comfortable you can move them back to the middle.

Teaser chart: if you’re among the best teams in the league for 6 straight years, the most likely outcome is 0 Cups.
