Of course not. If that were the best deal of the summer I would rethink moving Kessel entirely.

If a good team adds kessel, and he can go in and not have to be "the guy", division rivals would be worried.

i agree. if we can't get fair value for kessel, i don't see the need in dealing him. the structure babcock puts into place will probably be beneficial to kessel anyways.

It's not a fancy place. It's all about the food. Owners are really friendly - will come out and talk to you (one works the kitchen).

Quick Wedgie story: when they first opened, they didn't have their liquor license yet. So we gave them about $40 (iirc) and they got a temp liquor license so we could bring our own beer and wine.

I brought my whole family - my parents, my two brothers, their wives and kids. They closed the restaurant for us. We got the booze flowing, they started rolling out the appetizers. Fantastic. Food was incredible. All the adults ordered lobsters of one sort or another (I'm lazy, so I always go with the Newport Roll - no work involved).

Main courses arrive, we open up a few more bottles of wine, and my brother turns to me and asks, "Is this place franking for real? Is this just a dream?"

They have their liquor license now, but it's still phenomenal.

so if the best offer was john scott we should take it? that's idiotic. they need to set a price, and get what they believe comes closest to that price. if nothing comes close, why trade him?

Panthers not signing any of Kopecky, Upshall or Ellis. That's right leave room for Phil.
