so i came to let them take their pot shots at me so i can laugh at them

a bit tired tho.. worked from home til 11:30 last night.. and got up at 3:45 to get ready.. at work for 5:30am this morning.

I'm getting much better, but my father in law is incredible. I hope to get close to his standard one day. Just gas grill stuff though...nuthin' fancy.

LOL at TSN this morning. Apparently a couple execs say the Leafs are asking way too much. One executive said the Leafs are going to have to retain more salary than they think.

GM's negotiating in the media. I am quite sure that most GMs would love a top 6 scoring winger who is under 30 for under 6 million on the cap.

you're probably/most likely right...

the issue for the other GMs(not Toronto's) is... if they really think Kessel or Phaneuf can help them, are they willing to risk losing a proven player they want over a difference of .500 to 1 per year.

and GM's have to negotiate thru the media...

they can't rely on the media putting accurate messages out there themselves.
