That's the only reason I switched to DirecTV. - darkman
I know . Kinda want to go back to Comcast but I have the following DVRd....
2010 SCF game 6
2013 SCF game 6
And
Get this....
The 2015 SCF game 6........
And
Game 3 of the 1996 world Cup of Hockey is DVRd from when Uverse did have the NHLN.
So I dont wanna quit them just yet . Currently hate them for not having NHLN. I must have filled out 500 of those channel request things to no avail. I muat be the only one .

and probably bc McDavid is a hockey robot saying all the cliche things to Canadian management groups and Eichel has a personality.
Probably as simple as t hat - DDM-Coga
Who gives a crap about who says what and who has a personality. If Eichel thinks he's the better player, say it and go out and prove it night after night. Just do a better job of it than scumbag Ryan Kesler has so far of proving his superiority.
And if you follow the PGA Tour, there was indignation among the American stuffed shirts in that sport when Patrick Read suddenly announced he was one of the best 5 or 6 players in the world. The Golf Channel had their undies in such a knot it was hilarious.
But all of this has squat to do with citizenship.

I'll also add this............and I expect to get some heat from it.
Crawford's F bomb again yesterday after being told to keep it clean, can't help matters. Guy beats to his own drum, but given that and his "accident" at a concert earlier this year........starts to develop a pattern. Those are off ice concerns and with a president who is VERY imagine conscience.........something to think about.
On the ice, Crawford has NO doubt PROVED what an asset he his. However, can this organization justify keeping him and dealing an additional 1-2 guys on top of Bickell and Sharp IF the cap comes in lower then anticipated? Especially if they believe in Darling and Raanta? There lies the debate that no doubt will be going on inside 1901 w Madison. Especially since 50s stock will NEVER be higher then it is RIGHT now. - SteveRain
I think the Crow debate reminds me a lot of Kane. He had off the ice issues, people wanted to trade him for Ryan Miller. Not saying that Crow will ever amount to what Kane has at his position, but with these concerns come with a 2 Stanley Cups. I agree off the ice issues could be there, but I'll take someone who has won 2 cups. These issues are also magnified by the cap issue. If the cap wasn't a situation, then I don't think there would be talk about moving him.
As it goes, if we are able to trade Crow and get a good return, to have Niemi come back is intriguing. If you trade Crow and sign Niemi though, I don't see Raanta wanting to stick around in Rockford. |

No one in hockey likes a big big mouth braggart Canadian or American. Ever wonder why Lindros was never embraced by Canadians even though he backed up his arrogance? Everyone loves Toews in large part because of his humility. No one likes Evander Kane in large part because of his arrogance. Self promoting and arrogance belongs in basketball. - paulr
C'mon, guys - he's 18 years old - give him some space to grow up, spend time with professionals to see how they act.
Most 18 year old males either think with their Richards or don't think at all. |

The rumblings about Kane being traded that offseason and Crawford being traded this offseason and the reasoning behind that are night and day. |

The Chicago Blackhawks demands for Patrick Sharp are reportedly sky high.
Chicago reportedly wants a first round pick, top-tier prospect, and a top-six forward on an entry-level contract. There's nothing wrong with them putting up a high price now so that they have something to work down from, but it would be shocking to see a team meet those demands. It is worth noting though that the weak UFA market might lead to Chicago getting more for him than some might suspect, even if they won't end up with everything they're demanding. Sharp had 16 goals and 43 points in 68 contests in 2014-15 and will turn 34 in December. He has two years left on his deal with a $5.9 million annual cap hit.

Or...there are very few real pure scorers available on the open market, and they are setting the market knowing they won't get that.. but.. they will get a nice return that multiple teams will be in contention to get. |

If the Hawks can sign:
Richards (1.6m)
Kruger (2.2m)
Saad (5.3m)
Desi (1.1m)
and bringing on these ELCs:
TT
Panarin
McNeil
Hartman
Danault
TVR
Johns
...and can find takers for Bickell and Versteeg, then they will ONLY be at 61.2 mill with only slots 6-7d to fill out and with these to sign/trade/let go:
Sharp
Vermette
Crawford
Oduya.

So long as that "bag of peanuts" is cap space relief that is really the most important return Sharp will bring |

"...my source tells me the Hawks are legitimately concerned about a $67-68 million cap this year. In which case, Crawford is definitely on the market right now.

What issues could be there - does Cro drink a case of Labatt's Blue every night and throw his empties on the old bag next door's lawn in Lincoln Park?
#50 stops the puck when he has to. The one and only issue is $ and the salary cap. F#ck Antti Niemi. |

Why would Richards take less than he made this year?
Kruger should also make a bit more than 2.2

All Canadian watch and play golf.
And I am waiting for the day when some Swede, Aussie, Brit or Canadian steps up to the microphone at the U.S. Open and announces he is vastly superior to any American in the world playing the game.
And watching the reaction from the viewing public in the U.S. will be priceless. |

If that's the case that will be gravy, the cap space is the most important part of any trade involving Sharp. |

88 points with Toews was his best year... At least for a full NHL season.
Though the last two years, if he stays healthy he is probably in the 35 to 40 goal range so I guess it depends on how you look at it.
Either way, yes a real center is important. - fattybeef
If Kane doesn't get hurt against Florida, he probably wins the HART. That's what I was getting at, but good catch on the point total.
Still think you can ride the Richards train for another year IF he's coming cheap.... |

Why would Richards take less than he made this year?
Kruger should also make a bit more than 2.2 - CaptainBlackhawk
Well, he's made his money, sounds desperate to stay, and knows the cap situation. Either way... I'm just trying to illustrate that its possible for around 62m you would have this lineup (minus a 3rd pairing):
Saad toews hossa
TT Richards kane
Panarin kruger McNeil
dejardins shaw Hartman
danault
seabs keith
hammr TVR
johns
Raanta
darling
Now, based on this, and pending what we need to take back for Bickell and Versteeg, for the 6-9 mill remaining who do you keep - knowing you still need another defense pair?
Veemette
Sharp
Oduya
