Couturier for Kessel, done deal. Phil would be an absolute beast with Giroux and Voracek. I would love this to happen!
Couter will never reach his offensive potential in Philly and in my opinion he just does not have enough grit. Great shutdown guy but Kessel is a scorer that is very hard to find. Do it Ron!

Way to be ambiguous. He slit his wrist whilst cooking, that will surely be a problem in the future though. - TheCalSen
He has sustained other injuries as well you know . I'm actually struggling to find a good source of information that outlines a players injury history. Does anybody know one?
More to the point is that Anderson hasn't played 60 games in a season since 2011-2012 so that pretty much speaks for itself.

I actually disagree with you here. What the Oil need is a solid leader like Anderson to show the way, the Oil on the other hand should go after Malcomb Subban to be their future number one if he is not ready yet. Two solid years in the AHL could be worthy of a chance to start, Scrivens and Subban my first choice but Anderson and Scrivens would work too. I think Anderson ends up in San Jose or St. Louis though. - flyerdude17
I agree about the solid leader and no more wasting 2nd rounders on project backups but Anderson isn't where I'd be putting my resources (especially if the asking price is so high). At this point he would basically be just a 2-3 year rental for the Oilers and the risk of him being consistently healthy even throughout that 2 year period is about as high as taking another chance on a proven backup (i.e. Talbot or whoever).
I think the Blues would need to trade Elliot before that would happen as they would have three goalies on one way deals. Oshie is the fan favourite along with Tarasenko. He is one hell of a player and as a huge Blues fan I am hoping TJ goes nowhere.

Elliot, in my opinion, is not a number 1 goalie, a solid backup definitley.
Would Allen be better served going back to the minors and seeing a ton of starts in the AHL? Maybe, maybe not
The only reason I suggest Oshie is because I keep hearing his name in trade rumours, which surprises me.

Awesome!
I hear that there will be a deal right after that one, Kadri for Giroux.

I think the guy they would really like to trade is Stastny but they would be admitting screwing up and who wants him at 7 mil a year, highest paid third liner in hockey, lol Clarkson is a fourth liner that is the highest paid.

Couturier is a very desirable player to most nhl teams but I just do not see him ever being a top six player, just me maybe. Kessel is perfect, he loves pizza, good food and can put the puck in the net. He skates like the wind and requires lots of pizza fuel to keep him going,

They should get Anderson, trade down the 16th into the mid 20's. With that pick take Samsonov.
Beleskey is a top 6 guy - no doubt 2nd line - see his tip in game 7 loss to hawks - guy has skill and is a scrapper - plus hard nosed, Clarkson comparison is horrid - Matt at 4yrs 3.5 is a steal which I think he would take to go to a contending team or stay in Ana - he is at 1.35 now - 2 mill raise per yr should get it done - 27 yrs old - gives him one more nice chance at 31 for another deal -
Prediction, Ottawa doesn't trade a goalie. Their price is too high. Murray wants a top Six forward and prospect for Lehner, that ain't happening.
Trying to make up for letting bishop for what mounted to nothing. - Mentalorgasm5
They got Tobias Lindberg with the pick they got from Tampa in the Bishop trade and he has been regarded very highly as a prospect. So they got more than people think in the deal.
