If he goes to camp at all. If he's serious about going to the KHL I doubt he'd show.
In related news, apparently Burakovsky (damn russian names) is talking to winnipeg about a comeback to the NHL. |

our toy wearing the scarlet letter now that we have eichel
"
1 Sam Reinhart
Following a strong first NHL training camp, Sam Reinhart made the Buffalo Sabres’ opening day roster. But the 2014 second overall pick struggled to adapt to the NHL and was returned to the WHL after nine games, due in part to the fact that the Sabres roster was not constructed in a manner that might have allowed the young center some protection as he got used to the pace of the game. He later competed for Canada at the World Juniors where his patience and playmaking led to Reinhart tying for the lead in tournament scoring, then he returned to the Kootenay Ice where he finished with 65 points in 47 games. Reinhart's skating and physical play are still short of elite level, but his high level of intelligence and ability to distribute the puck mark him as a probable impact player."
number 1 ranked prospect
not number 47
not number 38
the freaking number 1 ranked prospect before this draft - homiedclown
So apparently if you dont think Reinhart will score 50+ points next season you are a complete idiot and consider Reinhart a total bust. its it a crime to have tempered expectations for a rookie player on one of the worst teams in the NHL? I dont think anyone said that it wasnt possible for him to have a good season or that hes a third line player. We are talking about a rookie that will need to earn his way onto this roster just like anyone else. Also it is true that he is the #1 ranked prospect (according to Hockeys future) but im willing to bet that if Ekblad didnt step into the NHL (and have a great rookie season) he would likely be ranked #1. so keep going on and on like a child and repost more hockeys future articals oh and dont forget to post about how reinhart stinks again because you are the only one saying that.

That is one of the better prospect sites out there IMO. - Stripes77
If you read the section about the people who write there, it's just amateur site, no one has a background in the NHL/CHL/WHL or anything like that. No scouting experience or anything along those lines. They spend their free time watching hockey. |

I believe his agent Grossman is known for using the KHL as an option. I think Bylsma should call Grigo and say that he has every chance to make the roster. It's his time to back up what he thinks. |

I think this whole conversation has been blown out of proportion. Is it realistic that Reinhart could get 50+ points, absolutely. Are there contributing factors that are incredibly unknown, definitely.
Let's wait to see if he is in the lineup rather than jumping on a poster for having a reasonable expectation if a player slots where they are projected to.
