In here (http://blog.triblive.com/...f-a-luxury/#axzz3do0k9uTF …) @Mackey_Trib calls Brandon Sutter trade "imminent." I can't say it's close, but definitely are discussions.
More of a who gives a poop, FYI - TheSabresTaco
This is another example of why I had no problem giving up what we did for Kane and Bogo. The team that gets the best player(s) almost always wins the trade. Pitt certainly could have done better in the Staal trade. |

I hope he does and shuts that (frank)er up
reality, I see him as a thornton type
15 goales, 35 helpers if he is anchoring the second line this season with say moulson and ennis as his wing men - homiedclown

crawford for 31, yes or no? - homiedclown
Damn, that's tempting. I am normally all about not overpaying for a goalie but to get a proven winner that is signed to a reasonable contract is tempting. One more hole filled.

The ineptitude of this team and its scoring is mind blowing, but I think if he's getting 15 minutes a night, I would hope he can get 40 pts. I think that's where I'm setting my bar. |

His skating still needs a lot of work. |

I could get on board with that. IMO hes a good/average goalie who is on a great team which makes him look better than he actually is. |

Unless it's for one of the best in the game, 6 mil on goaltending is a terrible investment. Especially over the next 4 years. |

His skating still needs a lot of work. - Sabresfan-365
With an improvement of strength comes an improvement of skating, typically. He knows exactly what he needed to work on and, according to Murray, he did just that. Not to say it doesn't still need work, but I'm happy he's improving. |

sabres will have that cap space for 4 years though
I would rather pay a little extra for a known in net for 4 years then fill out the roster with the mitchels, messos and benoits

I'm rounding back to Loui Eriksson, no (frank)s.
Jimmy Murphy @MurphysLaw74 5m5 minutes ago
Of course and how did I forget, add Louis Eriksson to player who could and likely will be dealt by Bruins |

Neither is a good option. The only reason it has worked out for the hawks is because they've got guys like Keith on ridiculously good value deals that don't exist in the league anymore. That cap space should be dedicated to things like finding another top pairing d-man or 1st line RW. |

True, he's got the summer to work on it but it didn't look much better in the playoffs or AHL.
Not that it can't get better over time, just that it's hard to imagine him in the top 6 as early as next year because of it. |
