Thing is, he only is allowed one per week, to no fault of his own. I think Lucas would gladly do a blog a day if he could.

But all the relevant news and current updates that Mike posts 20-25 mins after it has already happened are still provided in the comments, in the exact manner they are here, so nobody would really miss anything.

That and conversations only have to be carried over or cut short because of "new blog everyone" once per week. Being "FIST" has much more prestige when you have waited a week for it.

I don't think they were that far off this year - only question is Norris which is always confused given emphasis on offensive contribution and the high level of coolness of Karlsson

The Habs are an elite team with depth up and down the middle with two Selke candidates in Pleks and Eller, elite scoring wingers in Patches and Galchenyuk, let alone a top-4 no other team can boast. Yet they give the award to Price? Seriously? The guy plays on an elite team in a defense first system. He's so overrated. You could put Reimer in net and they would be just as competitive behind that defensive core. This is the team that could trade a first line winger in Jiri Sekac and still remain as strong if not stronger. That's how good this team is. The Price is Wrong.


The NHL is a joke.
