Admit have not watched much live Reinhart action. Just call up and some of the jrs
and highlights

Reinhart seems to allow the play to develop which isn't a bad thing. The "cerebral" to me sometimes looks like just waiting and really needs to add the fiery go get aspect to game. Kind of lacks emotion.

Marner...like Patty...Looks like a playmaker. A goal scorer. Emotion shows. Smaller player but electric

Weird but just as far as demeanor...almost like Pierre Turgeon vs Pat Lafontaine

I have full confidence he won't trade all picks for rentals. If he trades for Lack (or whomever) I can guarantee he doesn't see him as a rental. If we wanted a 1-2 year guy, we'd just sign a guy and be done with it.

I still am tempted by Samsonov at 21. I'm not as high on meier as you but LOVE Provolov. Unfortunately, I think Porvolov goes earlier than we expect. Yep - if you saw him at the world Juniors, you'll know you want him on the ice at every important time in a Sabres game in a couple of years

I am not interested in giving up assets for either when there are a bunch of serviceable UFA's

He's got a poor read on him for sure, imo as well.

He's great away from the puck, he knows exactly what guys are going to do with the puck before they do. With the puck, he can fire a no look pass right to the tape..

You might not see those goalies as long term, but if we do in fact trade for the above mentioned, Murray probably sees them as otherwise. Just a guess. The way he described in position on goalies, stating he'd first like to trade for one, then maybe sign an older one for a few years, he's fine with either. Why spend an asset on a short term guy if you can accomplish the same exact goal with a 'free' goalie? If I have this thought, you gotta pray Murray has the same idea.

If you don't see either as a long term solution (and I'm on a fence with both) then you absolutely don't trade for either. Sign Dubinski, Niemi or another stop gap and save the pick.
