What's your take on clone golf clubs?

I ask because as a beginner, I got a custom fit set of generic irons, custom fitted (I'm 6'3") from some brand called Turbo Power back in 2009 (I think). I actually liked them, and can hit the ball decently well with them. I was thinking of going that route again. I keep getting mixed reviews online. People that think cloned clubs are okay don't seem to have a problem, but there seems to be a lot of pretentiousness about using clones out there as well.

That's the other thing. My irons are actually fine except I don't have an 8-iron right now (due to my dumbassery, not due to quality of the club). I have a set of woods from like 2002 I've been using forever.

I'm almost starting to wonder if he is just pricing himself out of Colorado. He held out and signed an offer sheet with Calgary too. Maybe he just doesn't want to play there and could lower his price somewhere else. I don't want Buffalo but just saying

I'm actually in the process of getting new clubs for the 1st time in 8 years and I'm actually focusing on my 3 and 5 woods and driver, and going with used irons.

I overuse my 7 and 5 irons so as long as those work Im golden

No a player must be with a team for one calandar year in order to offer a 8 year deal.

Any team trading for him can only offer a max 7 year deal until they have owned his rights for a year.
