I actually believe Gudas will surprise some people if he's fully healthy and gets opportunity. He isn't only about the physical game...he has underrated offensive skills that he flashes now and then. When he an Carle were playing on TB in the season before last, I thought Gudas brought more to the game...he was much more physical and stalwart defensively and had fairly comparable scoring numbers and looked more involved on the pp...all for almost 5 million less. He likely won't play the minutes he did then or sniff any pp time here though, unless guys like Luke and or Grossman are jettisoned. I hope he can show what he can do and stick around.
