Piss off i clearly didn't see the break in season stats last year. If I'm being banned for stating my opinion on something and making a statistical error than this is clearly not a democratic environment. Not once have i personally attacked anyone. I don't think it's a good trade I think Legwand's days are behind him and I think it takes ice time away from Reinhart. That's my opinion and I'm entitled to it

Better than Roy is now, IMO.

So recently there's been talk of "What could Reinhardt do this season?"

Some say 50-ish points, some say 30.

Meanwhile a player was just picked up who has averaged about 45 points per season in his career plus a guy who, sorry but I'll take reporters' opinions over fans, could be a top 5 NHL goalie for the 21st pick.

Color me not too upset.

I would say, chances are 99% they are. I could see Grigorenko or Hodgins moved (if there are any takers).

My gut reaction is the same as most peoples here, but:

1) Murry likes BIG goalies and he knows this one, who hasn't had a starter position before. We needed a goalie, and this guy has legitimate potential to be good, or very good, and can step in NOW, which we need.

2) This seems like overpayment, but it's also a worthy risk. Murry likes to roll the dice, and make big trades.

3) It's a first, yes, but whoever they got wouldn't be helping the team for 2-4 years. That's not a priority. A goaltender is.

4) would you really have wanted any of the UFA goalies? Really?
