I know robbing Leddy & Boychuk for peanuts was terrible. Trading up at the end of the 1st rd to grab Brock Nelson was another terrible trade. Trading down the year they drafted Bailey and drafting Hamonic with those traded picks was brutal. I mean its just one after another Snow's team got more points last year then basically the Sabres last two years combined. I am jealous though you guys hired Babcock this offseason and are gonna draft McDavid #1 and you still have the 21st pick. Exciting times ahead.

You know my opinion on Moulson. I had it before trading him to you guys was even a thought and if you ever visited our thread you know 99% of us shared that same opinion. Very few Isles fans were sad to see him go.

Moulson is garbage. Unless you have a superstar feeding him empty nets left and right he is a 12-15 goals a year bottom 6 winger at best and he is making what? 5 million a year???

11am seems awful early for "this is the best we're going to do".

He can throw out all the terms he wants. Tim Murray has already shown that when a guy he wants is available, he's willing to pay, and even overpay, for him. This is just the latest example of that, nothing more.

Now that you are in the building part of the process all the moves add up. Pittsburgh's awful depth didn't creep up in one day. All the pieces matter. Maximize value every chance you get even if you have done really well in other areas to this point.
