Yup.

I just don't think you EVER give up a 1st for a goalie, much like in the NFL you NEVER give up a 1st for a RB. It's just not wise and rarely, if ever, pays off.

I don't think you select a goalie in the 1st round, however if you trade for the right goalie with a first it won't hurt you

NJ would be better off without him at this point, IMO. Could have even landed 1 or 2 of McDavid/Eichel/Hanafin/Reinhart/Ekblad without him.
