You're talking about moving four assets for 1. So, who would we select with #3? We already would have Eichel, Reinhart, Girgensons... so I doubt we take strome. I can't imagine Marner being worth anywhere near that much. So if we go defense we take Hanifin or Provorov at #3. Are either of these guys ceilings so much higher than Zadorov's that we should make this move? You're talking about a top 10 pick in 2016 (our draft) a prospect 2nd line center who's coming along, and pick 51 to be able to swap out Zadorov with Hanifin. I'd have to say no-way to this. - sskkoo1
So we don't want a center and no ones ceiling is bigger than what Zadorov could be so just no? I think Marner could be worth it. Plays wing and has tons of skill. Ok so not enough value with just picking, you could get #3, trade down with someone in the top 10 for a young NHL forward, a top six d and their top ten pick. If Murray wants ROR so badly, ROR #10 and a prospect. Then you have a chance for a player like Zacha or Konecny.
The whole point of this was to see if anyone thought our 2016 1st could open the door back to top five. |

Would anyone do Malcolm Subban #13, #14, and #15 for #2? - Pierceme69
Switch Subban with Bergeron and I would still say no but I would think about it for a second |

Indeed, it's Martin Jones, plus 13th overall pick and prospect Colin Miller for Milan Lucic |

Not sure how, that Hamilton is one of the more foolish trades I've seen in awhile. |

15th, hamilton, and Lucic for 3rd is a really steep cost to do so. |

For whom though?
Hanafin? Dougie was further along in development and I personally think they both will be about the same.
Marner? Yea they could use a prolific scoring presence like him but at the sacrifice of your future D core and a good winger?
Something about this is just fishy...I am excited/scared to see what they are cooking up.

The Bruins retained close to half of Lucic's cap hit/salary in order to make trade work with the cap-strung Kings |
