Because of the opportunity cost of that pick and sheer amount of goalies available right now. It'd be a bad trade any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

True - however this is something to whine about until the next rumor

I don't like Lehner.
I think he is an average goalie.
If we give Ottawa our 1st round pick for him, it would be an absolute mistake.

I HATE GARTH, a fan of any other team most likely thinks we are complete tools because of him

I think Lack could be had for #51 - I think he's the better goalie, not the upside though, I suppose.

Wish pick 31 could be kept until after the first round to start a bidding war for teams who want to grab a player who dropped out of Round 1 and then from that trade, use those asset to get a goalie.

What prospect (if necessary) or pick in next year's draft would have to be added to pick 51 to get Lack?

A friend texted me and I guess on the Sabres Fans site someone is saying we would get the Sens 1st rounder and they would get 31. So it would be Lehner, Legwand and the Sens 1st for 31. Take it with a grain of salt though.

Honestly, the trade happens today people are going to analyze it today. It happens with every trade.

It's bad at this point in time because it's not the supposed market value.
