All that momentum I had going into this season, all that excitement and hope, it just took a big hit. There is no way I can spin this trade to make myself feel better about it. I would have rather taken a goalie in the draft at 21.
The only thing I can say is hopefully this takes us out of the running for O'Reilly |

By the reactions of some people around here, we need to close down the Peace Bridge.
Relax people. The guy hasn't even played a game for us yet. |

Of course he's going to like the Ottawa players. He helped pick a lot of them. Not to mention he has a lot of familiarity with them. - HonkFortheGoose
Even if they are average at best?!?! |

A 1st round pick for a goalie with concussion problems and a throw away with a contract we don't need. Bad move on Murray's part. |

THIS.
GMTM will be taking a lot of heat for this one!!
BAD MOVE, JUST BAD MOVE!!!
This is really deep draft, we really don't even need a goalie this year, cause we are not even close to be competitive.
JUST A BAD TRADE!!! |

My thought is Ottawa wanted more than a 1st for him. Taking Legwand erased the need to Buffalo to send another pick. |

Deals like this get's GM's fired, you move a 1st round pick you better get a good return and Murray didn't. |

Talbot for 21? That was laughed at meanwhile Murray is gonna trade the pick now for a goalie who yes has potential but he finished with a goals against over 3 and has concussion history and a 34 year old forward with no future on that team. |

To me, Lehner is worth a late 2nd rounder, or an early 3rd rounder. |

Lehner was the guy I wanted because he is 23 and I thought he would cost us the least out of all the available goalies. I never would of did a 1st

You were correctly laughed at. TM should have laughed at this trade. |
