I'm pretty sure half of the regulars here were calling for that trade. I'm not sure if they were 100% accurate with the picks/prospects but it was close.

I have spent hours watching guys like Grigorenko in Rochester, Compher at Michigan, Joel Armia, Brendan Lemiuex etc. I wanted to see these guys play for us.

And before people talk about how they would never make it, other teams wanted them

I still feel like the ROR deal was a freaking steal, Grigs was never gonna pan out and there was no room for Compher on this roster. I had high hopes for Zadorov and still do but can't help but wonder how much oh his personality off the ice might affect things. I imagine it's just cause he's a kid but either way I'm freaking PUMPED.

Whew! Big day. Looks like we've got some serious forwards to debut next fall. Sorry to see Zads go, but frees up a spot for Pysyk and McCabe to move up. Wouldn't be surprised to see us sign a good D free agent.

Armia is the only one listed there that I feel that actually fit on this roster. Grigs was never gonna pan out, Lemiuex didn't want to be here, and Compher just doesn't fit in with the team as a center, not with how deep they are now.
