The thing I like about this least is Ennis at wing. We've been playing players out of position for too long. All the cup competing teams have guys setup to succeed at rightful positions. - Buffalo--Sabres
Wasn't Ennis a winger coming out or Jr, I could be wrong but I sure thought he was. |

Does anyone know if McGinn was hurt last year or just scratched for more than half the year? To go from 79 games the before to only 19 is a bit discouraging if it was all healthy scratches.. |

He was a center in the WHL. |

I liked Larsson's play, I think he can crack the 4th line if he can carry it over into next year - bberkey1
Forgot about Larsson maybe he plays 4line and we send Legwand to AHL if he passes through waivers. |

One thing I've learned today is you're not allowed to have an opinion on the Sabres if that opinion is anything less than aggreeance that Muray nailed it.
The thing I like least about today is acquiring Legwand. Do we really need more marginal players jamming up our roster and taking ice time? - Buffalo--Sabres
It wasn't perfect, the Lehner trade is a testament to that. But it was still a pretty good day, we came out a lot better than we were going in Eichel aside. |

Swap Bogosian for Gorges, IMO. Plus wasn't McCabe C in some Worlds tourney in the past? - stashu
Yes he was. |

I don't know how anyone can grade that trade until the guy plays a season or two here. We didn't give up a roster player and got maybe a #1 goalie. |
|
|
|
We really do. Bogo, Girgs, ROR, Gionta, Kane, Eichel, Risto could all be future captains. - Pierceme69
ROR, Kane and Risto are not captain material. Girgs may never be and Gionta is practically 40. Watch Risto when scrums break out around the net, soft as they come. Hides out by the blue line. Good player, not captain material. Not saying you gotta punch guys in the face, but hiding isn't good. |

Agreed. I wanted Lehner more than Talbot or Lack. |

Not trying to be "that guy", but we fielded the worst team in 75 years. It would be harder not to come out better. Will it be the right kind of better? |

Back surgery - Fattony1187
Okay good. Would be a bit alarming if he only played 19 and was healthy..
Side note how ridiculous of NBC sports to cut out on the final draft pick coverage in order to put on Track and Field coverage..?!??! Are you kidding me... |

The rule is if the defensemen jumps into the scrum from the blue line the face-off comes outside the zone. |

It should, we solidified our top 6 unless Murray is still in the hunt for a top RW. |

Why so negative? We added two top-6 forwards and a potential #1 goalie and gave up no roster players what so ever. Zadorov is a loss, but he was likely going to be in Rochester this year anyway. |

Your taught not to enter the scrum from a very young age in the offensive zone. You only go if its absolutely necessary.

No.
Everyone's allowed an opinion.
It's just that when some on here act like children with their overuse of exclamation points, caps lock, "slit my wrists", it gets childish and embarrassing. |

Yeah I'm talking about my experience here. I'm getting beat down on facebook. I make a comment based on facts and people throw personal digs at me. I guess they aren't confident in their confidence. |

He can definitely lead by example but i think it's ultimately Eichel's "C" to lose. |
