Oh man.. I'd be ecstatic to have soupy back, was one of the ones I was really bummed to see traded even though he was being a cocky jerk at the time with money. He's a UFA next year with a massive 7.1 million cap hit but maybe if they take some salary back.

I think Campbell is a reach, I don't see that happening.

Besides Briere and Drury obviously.. who were some of the Sabres players in the last ten or so years you were most disappointed to see either traded or not resigned?

For me it was Dumont, Campbell and Pominville . I get why we traded Pominville as it got us where we are today but it still stung a bit. Campbell was always a favorite of mine and Dumont was a very underrated force on this team.

Im right there with you on all of these. Pommenville would look real nice on this team as a complementary player right now. I loved dumont. Had some edge in his game but never disappointed in the points department. Campbell was pretty much a victim of Golisano's operating budget, correct?
