According to Darren Dreger, the Sharks have agreed to a contract extension in principle with Bieksa, pending the completion of a trade.

I hope if Bieksa is moved that they start considering some other players.

Love Burrows, but $ could be better spent.

Cause its a trade in our division the price goes up.

Lack doesn't go to Edm for less than the 16th, if Lehner and Legwand's worth the 21st, Lack + Higgins is surely worth the 16th.

Lack doesn't go to Edm for less than the 16th, if Lehner and Legwand's worth the 21st, Lack + Higgins is surely worth the 16th.

I'd have to agree that the Lehner deal (and rumored Talbot deal) has risen the stakes. A straight 2nd rounder will no longer do. That time has come and gone.

2) Linden, Benning and company were looking very relaxed at the draft table in the tweet I posted to the blog.

Like I said, they repeated a rumour, I think they got it from twitter. Take it with a salt shaker.

I'm a little surprised Vrbata hasn't been traded for a top 30 pick yet.
