I hear you but waiting for UFA also means a swath of 1st-choice goalies are gone. If these goalies weren't 1st choice then most teams needing a goalie wouldn't be trying to trade for them.

I like the idea of packaging Lack + KB3 (+ something else) to SJ for that #9, especially if Werenski is still on the board.

I think many of them will leak. Teams will inquire about certain players, players are already traded, info leaks.

If teams aren't told of a target's status, or there is a deal pending, it could result in less trades.... stuff has to leak. wow.

I feel comfortable suggesting that #9 won't be traded to Vancouver.

I'd say the odds are at least 70% in your favor. It's difficult to trade into the top 10, but it's fun to speculate.

If we got the 9th, Provorov all the way (not likely, he'll be gone to PHIL before then), then Warenski, then Barzal (but I expect Barzal to go 5th)

I heard the guys on the Sirius NHL channel this morning talking about this same thing. Holding off on the trades until the show starts. They made it sound like it was their idea, but it seemed more staged than anything. YOu could be to something here Carol!

Miller is a very intelligent person and Lucic not so much. Somehow I think they may not get along. Though we all don't get to choose who we work with.
