I will repeat this one more time. I am not in any way a fan of Edler. At all. There are many parts of his game that I really can't stand.

I think he tries to play a safe D . I think he is a chicken. I think he makes way too many mistakes. I hate his predidictable drop pass. I think he is uncreative. The only thing I like about him is he has value in a trade.

That defensive lineup is even more depressing than I first thought.

That's fine I'm not his biggest fan either but how does Lucic for Edler make things any better? Edler has value in a trade so why do you gut the defense for 1 year of a risky and moody PWF? Send him away for picks/prospects. Unless you legitimately think that our D is no worse off with Sbisa playing top 4 minutes

I am not an Edler fan and would have traded him without blinking. I have been very very very very very consistent about that all along , never changed my mind once . Never

I can't think of any team that comes to Vancouver and thinks damn we have to play the Canucks. In fact most teams think lets go to the Roxy and get poopFaced ,it's only the Canucks

I don't see how his stats prove anything about scoring. Coming off an 18 goal season with 44 points that is tweener territory. You want toughness? Resign Tom Sestito. I fail to see how throwing a goon on the ice fixes the defense. If you care so much about winning I'd think that would be the first place you'd look to fix. If the plan isn't to win now (which it shouldn't be) and you're trading Edler, then the return should be something that helps us later

The rumour was there was 2x2nd round picks and Bieksa was going to be extended 4yrsx4.5 mil . One of the picks was a 2016 so Canucks nixed it. That is why I am pissed

Lucic isn't tough, he's a POS like Marchand, he plays dirty and because he's no longer on Boston, he won't get HALF the leniency the NHL gives Bruins players. You think we're hated because of Burrows and formerly Kesler and Lapierre, we'd be twice as hated with Lucic on our team. LA can have him, he's never been the same since the Stanley Cup season and he's wanting a raise on his 6 mil contract for 12 goals? No thanks.
