An undrafted free agent goalie who was only a back up turned into a 3rd and a 7th. I'm not seeing the issue, clearly. - thundachunk
The issue is not lack . The issue is we kept a goalie that is 4 times the price with weaker stats , and is one hit away from retirement. |

D-Core is in need of some fixing. I remember that you are high on Clendenning, but I hope people don't expect him and Corrado to improve the corps next season. We would be lucky if performances remained static. - Gullzy
I defended him after his skating was attacked.
People here have really short memories. When our " stud " D Core starting going down with injuries back in January we had a some guys step up and they outperformed our starters.
I'd be willing to bet this team doesn't make the players without the injuries to all those guys on the backend.
Yet somehow Clendening Skates like " POOP "
I don't think he's a 1-2, but I'm confortable with him in the 3-4 pairing.
So that top pairing has yet to be developed or drafted or acquired.
Which is why I put us as 4-5 years. |

That's a rough one. It's hard to believe that you couldn't have gotten more somewhere else. |

San Jose just traded a 2nd, a 2016 2nd and a 6th to Colorado for 31. That was the package offered to Fletcher for No. 20, I believe #mnwild |

|
So in total, Canucks have traded Schnieder, Luongo, and Lack for Horvat, Matthias, Markstrom, and a 3rd + 7th round picks. Horvat seems like he'll be a stud, and if Markstrom can replicate what he does in the A ,then maybe the returns on the deals will look better than they do right now |

Didn't this jacka$$ say he had multiple offers.
But of course he waits too long to make a move.
Looks like we haven't found our GM.............
At least if we are giving away players it means we are going to suck sooner rather than later.

TSN1040 saying they were offered the 57th by Edmonton but didn't want him in the same division so they took the 66th from Carolina. Difference between the two picks and chance of prospect turning out is pretty much equal so they sent his as far away as they could.
I can live with that! |

Meh, I actually agree with Lefty that lack is a bit overrated by us. He's clearly not viewed as a starter. |
