Couldn't agree more. Would have loved a better return, but this was what I had expected. - KB3Point0
Yeah, I was with you but the Lehner deal got me excited. Sabres overpaid big time. |

NYR trades Carl Hagelin and 59th and 179th picks to ANA for Emerson Etem and 41st pick. Then NYR take Ryan Gropp with 41st pick. - canucktruck
Meh. ANA just got way faster though, he can fly. |

He has. - requester47
What has he done to hurt this team? They were better than everyone expected last year. He's making them younger and building a better stable of prospects. |

Cause Andersen and Gibson have more value than Lack. Best to move one now. - KB3Point0
All those guys that jumped off the ledge today won't be around to see what Markkstrom is capable of.
Obviously the staff felt strongly about keeping him and the price is right.
Everybody that wants to burn JBs house down has NO IDEA of how many goalies were / are in play.
Too much fantasizing going on here in the last month or so. Setting yourself up to be disappointed.
I am sure JB could have gotten a little more done, but that would have meant sacrificing what we already have coming.
Sometimes the hardest / best punch you throw-- Is the one you DON'T throw. |

Would still love to trade Bieksa here and take a chance on Kylington or scoop up Harkins. |

We're getting closer to the point where Benning might be able to trade 66 and another pick to move up a bit if Harkins or Kylington or Sprong are still available... |

Ranger couldn't afford him with so much money tied up in defense.

That trade altered people's expectations unfairly. Thought it was a pretty big overpayment too. |

Vrbata to pits for that second and Sutter would be pretty awesome right about now |

Nah
Keep him till the deadline. Can you imagine the return for Bieksa at the deadline.
But seeing as benning is giving away assets I don't know.

That is what I'm thinking! We'll be out of the playoffs...start moving older pieces to make space for young guys who should be ready by then..... |

Should have traded lack to Edmonton for 57th.
Lack will be a career backup, don't get the hostility towards Benning here. |

Harkins to the Jets...what a draft. Connor, Roslovic and Harkins. And then we'll wonder why their prospect pool is so good. |
