Because sometimes a GM is savy enough to convince an opposing GM that that the player they are trading is worth more than they are.

Some of us hoped JB would be one of those GMs. It looks like JBs strengths are in drafting and not trading because a 3rd and a 7th is a weak return for a player that can contribute on a god awful team like the canucks
