Not even anywhere near next season yet. Stop being so pathetic. Teams may not have been willing to give up picks in this draft for our dead weight but maybe they now agree to move some prospects instead.
(frank) Vantel... take some fkn medication will you. You sound like a fool thinking we should be years ahead of the process after just 1 fkn year. - boonerbuck
You are correct on your points. The Canucks have some lean years ahead but they still need to ice an NHL team. Having a team made up of 18 and 19 year olds would be bad for everyone, especially those kids. You don't want your young group of kids thinking that management is trying desperately to suck. Guys like Horvat and Virtanen and that kid from the Greyhounds need to mature in a winning environment. |

Wait now. That's not it. If you are going to be bad then be really bad. No point in riding the fence. Canuck ownership needs to get some (frank)ing balls and make a commitment to getting better and doing it quickly.
This puzzyfuking around while trying to please the entire fan base (rebuild while trying to make the playoffs) is a stupid direction to take. It's mediocrity at its finest and I'm stunned that some fans are embracing it after so many years of mediocrity. - bloatedmosquito
I'm not. The reality is their season ticket sales will be the true indicator, and that's the only thing that's going to get managements attention. |

Dang that Jim Gillis - Retinalz
I'm fine with this draft and understand why Lack was only dealt for a third. Only complaints is that they pulled the trigger on the Bieksa deal but if they put him back with Hamhuis next year, his value won't decline and he might even be able to get a 2nd+ at the TDL so no biggie.
Boeser and Brisbois are solid picks that I'm pretty happy with. |

5 1st round picks in the last 3 years? I guess that hasnt happened?
You are just another Canuck fan who thinks all the changes for the upcoming season happen on draft day. Of course your outlook for the team is so bad. It's June and you think JB is done.

If you "non bi-polars" attacked the "waive Bieksa" posts more often then this place would be more bearable. Just saying |

Of course he isn't going to be waived, what a (frank)in waste that would be, no he'll be around in a reduced role to mentor corrado and clean denying and dealt at the TDL... |

Jeez you take a break from hockey for a month and when you get back the guy who was standing on the ledge is trying to get everyone else off the ledge |

Dont you have a tail to chase? Circles to run in? Contradictions to preach?

For years you come on here female doging about Bieksa more than any other human on the planet and then 10 minutes ago you say trade him at TDL. Another three quarters of a year you want me to watch his ineptness and listen to you preach how bad he is. |

I agree, they should get bad, and the faster the better, that said, you can't force other teams to take your older players, the players with NTC's have to agree and there's a thing called the salary cap for other teams. - LeftCoaster
I'll admit that I'm a fan and reality is ignored sometimes but I have to believe that if I'm getting a 3rd and next year's 7th I'm trading Higgins or Bieksa for that, not lack. Higgins and bieksa are dead end players for us. No future. Lack has a future. Not sure why the trade was made... |

Yeah, would have been nice to draft him but even some smarter teams passed on him so there must be some legit concerns about him. |

Expecting another lesser known, just don't take another MacKenzie Stewart and make sure the kid at least has some skill and I'm fine. |

Watch SJ give up a D prospect for KB eventually. It's not over. We have months to sort out the roster yet.
