I'll admit that I'm a fan and reality is ignored sometimes but I have to believe that if I'm getting a 3rd and next year's 7th I'm trading Higgins or Bieksa for that, not lack. Higgins and bieksa are dead end players for us. No future. Lack has a future. Not sure why the trade was made...

Trade was made because they have to. They are obviously convinced that Markstrom has a much higher ceiling and I would have to agree. Miller gives Markstrom time now. I'm sure their fingers were crossed for a 2nd. They tried to convince the market thy were getting better offers.

I agree with some here that Lack is overrated.

Listen up princess... rebuilding this team is going to be painful. You clearly are not up to the task. Stop being so weak.

I've never ever ever demanded we dump Bieksa for nothing or waive him at any point. This is where you and I differ. Rebuild is change . guys like you that think you know it all and correct everybody try to tell us what we want. maybe you are dumb enough to sit and watch Bieksa play another year on this team and hope his value increases while he gets older and slower, smarter fans will be pushing him out the door

Think outside the box! He could have been packaged up with whatever later and netted a better return. There is lots of time yet and still teams that need goalies and other pieces. That deal was not a win for JB.
