What is crazy is that when you guys suck I'm kinda sad, because a good competition with you guys is fun and makes hockey great.

This on the other hand seems to concede the Atlantic to Tampa, Habs, Wings, And then Ottawa, Buffalo and Boston rounding it out.

If all things were as is going into next season I would still think that Tampa and MTL are better..........
the wings I think are a more skilled and faster team and with Chara and Seidenberg in possible decline I think they are better in a 7 games series.........
Ottawa beat us out last season and is younger in many ways with players coming up through the AHL that have gone SUPER DEEP in the AHL playoffs........
Buffalo with Eichel and Ryan O'Reily seems to JUMP up the ranks now too!

I'm the biggest backer of this team. I always have the positive light to almost all situations BUT this night has been a (frank)ing abortion for a "proud" franchise.

For the last few great years we've had this sets us back 3-5 years. This is absolutely disappointing. Move our cornerstone dman for an awful return, have 3 first round picks and only grab 1 first round talent followed by 2 second round talents.

Awful start to the Sweeney era in Boston. Very disappointing for this fan base...

The entire Lucic trade is a complete joke. Retained salary, traded for a player that needs a new contract. So we're still completely (frank)ed in that sense. That 6 million is going to pay Lucic to play for the Kings and to pay a backup goaltender. Sweeney didn't even ask Looch how much he wanted, no contract negotiations at all. But he alluded to trading him cause they didn't want to pay a winger 7 million because it would screw up their "center depth" *cough*kelly*cough* and Sweeney and Chris Kelly's agent are apparently talking. This is a nightmare.

Guess we got the space that should've gone to Hamilton. Announce the Hamilton trade then minutes later resign Adam McQuaid for almost 3 million per.

This entire day was a farce. They both need to be fired immediately. Two different GM's trade two different young players for hideous returns (this is easily 1000x worse than the Seguin trade). And yet one guy was calling the shots on both trades.

I am disgusted.

What are the chances that a GM gets hired at the end of a season to only get fired the day after the draft

He gets "love" recently, but imagine if advance stats didn't exist............he would be considered the MOST OVERRATED player in hockey!

I love the Corsi revolution because of the simple fact that it makes the "casual" fans look TWICE at players they other wise would not think are that relevant.

Bergy shuts down Crosby, Tavares, Stamkoes, OVI (not on the PP, he is a piggy on that one timer), etc. he shuts down the "best players in the NHL" and scores on them.

But, still he is a second thought............in Canada you guys get it. One reason I can never hate you guys up north!
