If you're referring to the Kaberle trade, maybe. If you think they won the Cup because they had Seguin on the roster instead of Kessel at the time....ooookay.

I remember when the Flames traded Iggy and Bouwmeester and Kipper retired I thought that Flames would be (frank)ed for a long time. The thing is it doesn't always work out that way. Sometimes teams can turn it around faster than you anticipate. There's no reason Boston can't have a quick rebound.

Thats really what pisses me off about the lucic trade. they're eating half his salary, no cap relief at all, do they think they're gonna get a first line winger for 3 million? Would have been better to trade Kelly, keep lucic, and save the same money on the cap.
