Ridiculous! Has to be on par with one of the worst trades ever........and where were the Oilers with their #16 if Hamilton went for a #15??? Would have been a serious upgrade for Edmonton.
Great for Calgary, but I have to believe Boston could have got much more if all the teams knew Hamilton could be had with this type of deal. If I'm a Bruin fan I am not happy! |

I just read that the return might be a first round pick and two second round picks. Still seems like not nearly enough for a future franchise D, no? |

So now the bruins have back-to-back 1st round picks. So what now? Package 1 or both those picks with Lucic and Subban and whatever else necessary to get ARZ's 3rd overall pick to draft Hanifin? |

If thats all it took Boston should have waited, def could have gotten more |

Is Boston going to attempt to move up for Provorov or Hanifin now? - JakeTech19
I would think this is part of a ploy for Hanifin. Otherwise it makes no sense?
14,15 and Lucic?
If that's the case that's a massive overpayment. |

I would have loved the Flyers to make a move like this if this was the type of deal. |

you realize you are trying to move 11 spots to get a guy who is considered a potential franchise d right? and they have multiple offers? its not going to be cheap. and lucic isnt a great trade piece. |

I'm sure everyone will come out and admit they were wrong when they scoffed at dougie being worth more than the 3rd overall pick in yesterday's blog. |

I feel bad for the Bruins fans....Hamilton was a stud who would have anchored their blue line for years. |

Probably something about him not playing "Bruins hockey"
Sorry for your loss. |

Unless Sweeney has something miraculous up his sleeve I'm (frank)ing done with this team... Or at least this management group. Probably just gonna cheer for the lightning until the Jacobs, Neely and the rest of the front office is gone. (frank)ing pathetic management. Go Bolts Go! |

Welcome to GMing Sweeney you (frank)ing tool....
Too early to fire him?
What the actual (frank). 1st and 2 seconds for a 23year old top pairing dman? From a team that has players like Bennett, Gaudreau, Gio....
Wow... Bruins D will be one of the worst in the league.
This deal is worse than the Seguin deal |

Part of me is wondering if Dougie's reps were negotiating like terrorists. Crazy demands and the like. |

You realize no one for sure knows what Sweeny is trying to do yet? I'm not sure he even knows. It's just conjecture. Also go (frank) yourself.

There is no way this is done. It's not even possible that anyone could be so inept. |
