Martin's definitely quality and LHD, but a year older than Oduya. I'd actually put him 3rd behind the other two mentioned. A year in age means a little more when you're in your mid 30's than 20-30.

Franson could be a decent 4, but he's RHD. Doubt he's Murray's first choice, but he plays a physical style and could also suit up for ES and PP. Plays PK as well. I think I'd put him 5th behind Green.

They way I look at it is this. He is giving away quality very young prospects who are largley still unknown. For more established young quality players. Naturally this is going to cost more to obtain these players. He is usuing his surplus of "money" or assets to obtain higher quality assets. Just my way of looking at it
