Good post. I can see them signing Lindback. The way the D looks they could end up signing two LD and gotta think guys like Sekera and possibly Beauchemin could be targets. Not sure what LW you are referring to.

The D for next year

Gorges-Risto
Sekera-Bogo
Beauchemin-Pysyk
Weber

McCabe might need more time in Rochester.

edit- the only winger available that we dealt at the deadline last season was Chris Stewart.

- mhp

If we sign Sekera and Stewart we are easily in the playoffs next year.

Anyone want to make bold predictions on how the division will play out?

1.TBL
2.Mon
3.FLA
4.Ott
5.Buff
6.Bos
7.Det
8.Tor

- Cheeseballin

1. TB
2. Montreal
3. Detroit
4. Florida
5. Ottawa
6. Buffalo
7. Boston
8. Toronto

We're gonna have a lot of new faces in the lineup. My only question is Lehner and the D protecting him.

I would prefer we go after Frolik as opposed to Stewart. Playoffs is a bold statement, depending on how the team gels.

What are the odds that Grigorenko makes it the whole year in the NHL on that team? If they send him down at any point is he waiver eligible?
- JCSabs06

If he makes the team he's destined for the 3rd line, based on their forward group. My guess is he'll stay the entire season.

I believe he has a ntc. Canucks got cap issues and will have to move either Bieksa or Hamhuis.
- mhp

I think he only waived if to go to SJ but with all the moves we made I would give them a call.

I did get New Corner Sidewalks Very Nice better than what our local DPW can do, what are the raised dots for? I was told they are for the blind? But I'm not sure, but they did an excellent job of creating an apron, I live on the Corner House, Lakeside Crescent, in sight of Como Lake and Lighthouse. Somebody also poured and layed topsoil and grass seed for me all along my double lot.

Was that you guys?

All newly installed handicap ramps on any corner now need to be ADA compliant.
All ADA means is "Americans Disability Act".
The slope on a newly installed ramp can not exceed 2% which is just about equivalent to 1/4" per foot.
So say if you have a typical 5 ' ramp, from the top to the bottom of the ramp there should be no more than 1' 1/4" slope on it.
If there is , it will get yanked and they will need to do it again.
The Raised dots on the bottom 2' x 5' of the ramp is indeed for the blind so they recognize and know when they are about to enter a roadway of any type.
I love these new changes for the ramps because I have always been a stickler when installing them myself even before the new state laws were passed.
Before you were allowed 1" per foot which meant a 5 " sloped ramp in 5 feet which is way to steep.
A ton of contractors would go right for that 5 inch mark where I always started out at 2 inches in 5 feet to keep the slope minimal.
Why you may ask?
Because I try to put myself in the position of a handicap person in a wheelchair that has just crossed a major intersection and now has to struggle to get up a steep ramp.
I don't and didn't want to do that to them so I always kept my ramps as flat as possible for them.
Sorry for being long winded but I thought I would explain the science or thought/goal behind it.
But no MEBE, I am only doing the concrete which is all over there in Lancaster.
You guys had a ton of heavy equipment damage from the storm.
Perhaps I will see ya soon...
I do know where your at.
Ciao for now.

Kane-Eichel-Ennis
Moulson-O'Reilly-Girgensons
McGinn-Reinhart-Gionta
Foligno-Larsson-Deslauriers
McCormick/ Legwand
Hodgson still?

Can't see where Stewart would fit in and quite honestly he isn't good

It seems to me that McGinn is a very similar player to Frolik (without the Stanley Cup).

I'd agree with that
Although Buffalo & Boston will be close, one way or the other
Bruins prob not done making moves though. They could end up better, or even worse. Idk what they were thinking w picks 14 &15? Gotta believe they could've traded down & at least gotten an extra 2nd in each case & still got the guys they reached on. Bad mgmt there.

If we stuck with those lines i promise that Stewart would have McGinn's spot...and given the drive we saw from him last year I could see him pushing for Moulson's slot on the second line......I'd like him back...but i think with the right people around him Foligno can develop into a Stewart-esqe player

I don't see us signing anyone unless some moves are made

My top 2 lines

Kane-ROR-Girgs
Moulson-Eichel-Ennis

I like the idea of Kane playing with Girgs, terrorize the opposition with the forecheck in the offensive zone and physical play which will create scoring chances and the speed and playmaking ability of Eichel and Ennis together on the 2nd line.

Agreed.

A trade for a D and singing a UFA would be very nice IMO.

Trade for Yandle (not sure on the cost)

mcginn is a lw, frolik is a rw

I'd love to have both on my third line, as long as that pushes gionta down to the 4th line, not a fixture on the second line

I would still like a top line RWer...

This Kessel saga continues and I am sitting here watching and wondering.

What if you could get him and move out Hodgson?

Hodgson, Foligno, 2016 first? I am spit balling here.

Kane ROR Kessel
Girgensons Eichel Ennis
Moulson Reinhart Gionta
McGinn Legwand Larsson

I doubt yandle sticks, after this year which is why I would go a different direction

you can probably get soupy for a 5th rd pick, cap dump for panthers
soupy gets you a fixture on the bottom pair and a pp qb

the next few moves will determine where we stand for the fall and I believe a few moves will be made still

and as long as the rw is not named staff
