Possibly, if Foligno + can get you that 3/4 defenseman? Baptise has more offensive upside also, just still a year or two away.

When you guys start getting squeezed against the cap that 500 will go a long way. I use to have that same outlook but we are going to start feeling it real soon with the FA's and rfas we have to sign. Hard to keep all of these young kids.

To be honest, I don't know why Buffalo traded that for ROR. That is a ton to give up for a guy who can walk after this year and a role player in McGinn. If he does walk, that is one of the worst deals in history. I wouldn't have touched ROR for that price tag going out ... no way.

We have a ton of resources to spend. We spent a ton for both ROR and Kane, but so what? There is still a lot in the cupboards. It is rare for star 24 year old forwards to be available so they cost a lot.
