lots of heat about Grigo too. They are good pieces. They got a good player in ROR and Avs got 3 young Players back that our current roster and prospect pool just didn't have. I think its Win Win

I personally think he should only be our Plan B target. I don't see him signing for 4 million though, I heard rumors he was looking for 5 million a year. Not sure the Avs should give that to him unless Sekora is off the board.

Term wise I agree it's a good length, I'd prefer no higher than 4.5 a year.

I agree completely. He was good in the playoffs this year, and would be a great top-4 pairing but not at 5 million a year for 4 years.

Green is still good, and if anyone who discredits him really hasnt watched him play lately. He will be very expensive but I wouldnt mind him. Just that he is a RHS. Not sure if he can play Left side or not.

Franson has played LHS before, so I can see that being a possibility

I think our options are pretty good with our cap the way it is where we can take a look at quite a few options on D. We should be in on all available D free agents IMO. Obviously my ranking goes:

Sekora
Green
Franson
Oduya

Its not the best top 4 but it still is way better than what we had....but now since they didnt drop the 5-6m on a Dman, do they take a run at a forward like Frolik. IF they sign him, I would be happy with UFA

Beaucheimin should hold down a spot in the top 4 for a year or two until one of the younger prospects is ready to step in. Then he hopefully has enough in the tank to be solid on the 3rd pair.
