It's too early to speculate roster spots, but he could end up being a decent 3rd line center and put up 30-40 points - chilliard77
From what sens fans have told me he's basically done, nothing left in the tank. |

One thing people seem to forget is, David Legwand put up 50 points in both years prior to 2014/15. I don't think anyone is hinging on him being a 50 point player, but it isn't that far fetched to think he could have a bounce back year and improve from last years 27 points. - chilliard77
I'd rather see a guy like Schaller get a shot at the 4th C. Legwand can not help with the ultimate goal.

I think this is where this is where getting ROR is so important. I remember the night that the Bruins hit rock bottom as a franchise (I think it was '06). We hung something like 8 or 9 goals on them. It wasn't the first or second line that was doing it to them, it was the third line of young Roy and Vanek that was decimating them. Drury and Briere handled the big boy duties and the kids got to grow. ROR will allow our 2nd liners to be 2nd liners (Moulson) and guys like Reinhart to play against lesser players. I'm curious to see how Gus grows now that he isn't on the top line. - Slump Buster
IMO the biggest question mark
I can see him on top line as a winger
I can see him as third line center
as long as he gets 18 minutes per night I am fine either way |

Lehner will be fine, most likely should have been the 31st? But once TM had the ROR trade in the bag with 31st + - it was time to pull the trigger with the younger goalie with higher ceiling!
Now let's get 3/4 solid D-Man and maybe a Oshie for Foligno/Prospect/pick?
Peace |

LOL Hodgson gets bought out right? I need that to happen. Wednesday should be fun, though I'm not expecting more than a couple signings and an ROR extension. |

Yotes win that trade. I wonder if we can talk Darcy into taking Hodgson and that beautiful contract he gave him. |

If they add a D man
and come together as a team
I expect all the suffering we endured for years will be quickly forgotten - homiedclown
Youve vot to assume he'll ad at least one LH dman. Weber is not a starting top 6 dman in this league most like through UFA. Thinking one of the 34-35 year olds make most sense. Sign odulya or Martin for 3 years and they can retire when one or.more.of.our d prospects (maybe from this years class) are ready |

He is gone. I've been on the front of the bandwagon to get rid of him for 2 years now. That said, I have to admit to being a little curious as to how he would do with good talent around him. But we can't gamble on this and miss the discounted buyout window (like the Kings just did with Richard). |

Sabres liked legwand a lot last yr during fa. Don't know what happened last year? Maybe OTT didn't give him ample opps? Plus, with an expiring contract, he can be traded at the deadline for a pick if we're not in playoff contention |

I agree. The Darcy in me says give him a shot, but the Tim in me says its best to cut ties now while its cheap. |

"Murray to Yotes for Darcy and the Yotes next two Number 1 Draft choices"
e4-5
P.S. Can we stipulate that "Rolston" must be returned for the excessive coast of this "Bylsma" guy, I really don't believe we need to extend the cash flow towards our "Drafting" department, with all these new fanagled electronics we can do it all from our desks and by the way, that Craig Ramsey, Don Luce, Rick Dudley, Kevin Dineen guys show no intellect or talent to coach this game, I believe we should hire a "Inspirational Speaker", nothing against Inspirational Speakers mind you, I just don't prefer one as the head coach of my hockey team , thank you. |
