I want zero to do with TJ Oshie.

We already have him on the team in the form of Tyler Ennis.

I'm not gonna judge what Bogosian did here, because as a team we were awful, and he got hurt and missed 7 games, but I look at it as how did both of them fare on a good WPG team, and the clear cut better player was Myers.
It took him 18 games I believe to produce the 13 points that Bogo produced in 40 games. If you ask me who do you pick, the guy that is producing at a 50 point pace, or the guy that hits a lot of people, I'm taking the point producer easily.

We needed a guy who can log effective ice time and be physical consistently. Now we need a young guy to make good passes(who also happens to be him) to our forwards, who might have the puck a little more this season.

If Bogo stays healthy, he can play solid minutes on a second pair, and probably be successful against teams 2nd and 3rd lines. But watching the cup finals, he's no where near a Seabrook or Stralman.

Actually if I could compare Bogo to someone, it's Dennis Seidenberg. Who is a very solid player, just far from a star

He's become quite the little pain in the ass to play against.

He's become much more aggressive.


Oshie is a waste of time and assets IMO.

He's part of the problem in St Louis thus shouldn't be part of our solution.

I pass on him all day everyday and twice on any day ending in y.

Oshie 99 hits Ennis 87 hits this past year.

Oshie 176 hits Ennis 176 hits the past two seasons.

Yea from the bit ive seen i would agree, but am still waiting to really judge him.

Im all in on signing the best dman you can now with zadorov being traded. No time to waste, as long as he isnt over 32 id say go for it.

Right, and the sabres upgraded their offense without decimating their NHL defense which is why the trade had a chance to go down.
