Yep. Our conference is going to be a lot tougher. Im glad we got hickey locked up he sends shivers down the spine of most power forwards like Saad. - Cptmjl
Hey you got Lee at a great (frank)ing deal. Cheer up Oscar. |

I have the image of Hayes literally throwing Hickey to the ground while stopping on a dime to score the tying goal late in the regular season on repeat in my head right now. |

I know I know. Snow has done a good job for a while now theres not a GM alive thats going to make everyone happy I was just hoping we would finally start moving on from players like Hickey. He just doesnt bring anything to the table IMO. Hes still young maybe we'll see some growth this season or maybe he'll just get pushed down the depth chart naturally. |

Jenner & Murray will be cheap, Savard wont and Johansen will get paid, but did u consider who's coming off the books by then? I know Hartnell comes off, so that helps. |

Anders Lee tells me G6/7 scratch didn't change view of #Isles. "That had nothing to do with where I want to be. This has been home for me."
That's code for regardless of that slob behind the bench this is where I want to be - Vukota

Boggles the mind. Between Sweeney going absolutely ape poop with the bruins, Lehner getting a first and a salary dump from the Sabres, and now Saad getting traded for not a whole helluva lot instead of dumping Sharp for peanuts its like (frank)ing Mike Milbury is calling all the shots for a number of teams this offseason. - Cptmjl
i don't think they could give Sharp and his 6 Million dollar cap hit away |

looks kinda rough when you lay it out this way:
Brendan Lemieux
Joel Armia
Drew Stafford
Tyler Myers
2015 1st round pick
Mikhail Grigorenko
31st overall
Nikita Zadorov
JT Compher
21st pick
to buffalo
o'reilly
mcginn
lehner
legwand
Jason Kasdorf
Zach Bogosian
Evander Kane - Isles_since_6
You can only have 50 contracts and the only big loss there is Zadorov. They picked up 2 top line forwards and a second pair defenseman. Not to mention the oldest is 24 years old. They still have great prospects as well.
Lemieux is a future 3rd liner, Armia is a second or third liner, Stafford was a UFA and didn't try, Myers is soft and a 3/4 defenseman, pick in the 20s is a 3rd liner but possibly second liner, Grigorenko was 5th on the center depth chart and might go to the KHL, 31st is a third liner, Zadorov has potential to be a top pairing guy, Compher is a 3rd/4th liner, 21 is a 2nd/3rd liner.
Got back top line center/winger, mcginn is 3rd liner, Lehner can be a #1 (86 games played as a 23 year old and a Calder cup), legwand is 4th liner, kasdorf is garbage, bogosian is second pair guy, kane is top line winger. We're happy. |
