All i'm saying is that any player that scores 17 goals in a season is good enough to play for the coyotes, they probably just don't want players that are good enough playing for them which is fine. That being said I think Moore could be a decent 5-6 depth defenseman for the Sabres that wouldn't cost much.

I would definitely take him over Gorges or Weber.

I don't have much confidence in Compher being able to score at the NHL level, so while he could be the type of player you mentioned, I don't think his scoring will be that big.

I always felt this way, another prospect I was luke warm about. He seems like a jack of all trades master of none. I don't expect him to be a big scorer but he may be a guy with a great motor, kills penalties, 3rd liner or so.

Anyone know how many picks we have next year? I was listening to Leafs Lunch and they said the Sabres have tons of picks still. Not sure they are right.

It's rather cold, but they could sign a few ufa's to short term deals and flip them for picks at the deadline if they're not in playoff contention.
