Martin Jones wants to be or have a chance to be a number 1. He acquired him, most likely, as simply as an asset to flip. - TheSabresTaco

i guess i am a little off.. i thought it was back at the begining of their careers like 1990 and thinking he would have had to be at least in his teens to remember put him in late 30s.. |

I feel confident in saying if the cap does not go up much for the 2016-2017 season, Crawford will be on the move. - kingcong39

If I'm Edmonton, Calgary, Buffalo or SJ, I bring him in to compete for #1.
I guess my order of importance would be:
1. SJ - Just have a backup, Stalock. Probably easiest to win that battle.
2. Edmonton - Just get rid of Scrivens already and have Talbot and Jones compete.
3. Calgary - Compete with the 34 y/o Hiller. He could, and should likely, be gone next year.
4. Buffalo - Compete with Lehner. Not advised, that'd be two high priced goalie acquisitions and you'll have to end up trading one. |

AZ's got Mike Smith 4 Lyf
Canes have Lack now and another year of (frank)ing Ward. Bringing in Jones doesn't make sense this year.
Flyers love them their Mason. |

I could see SJ and Calgary...Edmonton has their goalie, not spending more assets on one, Sabres don't want to (frank) up Lehner's head to compete and also spend assets. |

Smith had a bad year, but other than that he's been good for Arizona. He actually turned his season around late too. They could very well have finished last had he not.
I've liked Mason since he got to Philly. He's looked much better. I guess finding out your chest protector wasn't the proper size could help make a difference though. |

Dallas currently has $10.4M tied up in Niemi and Lehtonen and according to Jim Nill, they plan on keeping both and having them split time and push one another.
I think he forgot Lindy was his coach. |

With Sweeney in charge it's probably a 2017 second rounder...

Well done since he was just traded to the Sharks, I am sure the Kings aren't happy after they sent him to the east... |

I bet they did not want him in SJ, should have put in contract that he could not be flipped to West. Damn. |
