Hey I get that you guys are excited about Eichel, but I've seen enough about him being "the best player in the draft". He's great, he is going to be even greater. But no one knows who will end up with a better career. McDavid is just as exciting as Eichel. Not trolling, just saying that it's getting to be a little much.

Briere, Drury, McKee, Hecht, and we got some young kids named Roy, Afinogenov, and Vanek. That Pomminville kid might make the team too and hopefully that Miller guy can split the net with Marty. Do things right and maybe we can sneak into 8th.

Right now, probably not. But we have tons of cap space for the next few years. The contract looks more manageable 3 or 4 years from now.

And we'll still pay him it. I agree he isn't worth as much as Stamkos is making (7.5) but I feel like at this point you gave so much up to get him that you better not let 2M get in the way of keeping him. Can always negotiate the cap later.

Agreed... But he did come off $6.2 per so I he'll get bumped up to around $7 per with a long term contract. 7 at 7 prolly... I don't like that amount but It's going to happen, IMO.

I'd prefer to just sign someone like Oduya or Beauchemin and keep Larsson.

A line of Foligno, Larsson, and Girgensons would be a nightmare for other teams to play against.

Other than bringing in 1 defenseman, I kind of want to see Murray just stand pat for the rest of the offseason. I think at this point so many things have been done and moved around that we need to see where we stand. Hard to know what other moves to make when you don't know how what you have right now is going to work.

Other than getting O'Reilly signed to something ASAP, I want to see Tim be aggressive and get both Risto and Girgs signed long term before camp starts this year.
