I agree, I think he wanted out of COL and set his price at 8 mil to do just that.

It was more he wanted to have a much bigger role and that just was gonna happen with Landeskog, Mac, Duchene, and EJ.

To be fair Girgensons hasn't had the offensive seasons like Saad, but I think he could this year on the top 6. I also don't think he would demand a huge contract, he doesn't strike me as that kind of guy, but it is a business...

I hope we get a solid mid aged, 25-27 year old, mobile, solid LHD either via trade or FA. I'd love Sekera again and I don't usually go back and relive history but he is the best FA D out there.

That's just it to me. The will beat the crap out of each other in the playoffs. I think Tampa has a smooth sail to the Cup finals next season if they stay healthy.
