I'd like to see a veteran backup goalie that doesn't mind only 20-something games that can calm the kid down. 2-20 something year olds could be a disaster in net.

The Hawks knew they couldn't keep all their star players, so they made a good trade to keep depth. This is why the Hawks are a well run team with multiple cups

I don't think it has to do with them being Russian. More to do with their attitude. Something Tarasenko doesn't have.
