Bieksa is from Grimsby Ont, just down the road from Buffalo. Regarding his play, I see enough of him out here in B.C. that I wouldn't want him at this stage of his career. A great heart and soul guy but he was really exposed towards the end of the season and against the Flames. Too slow. Hamhuis would be a better pick from the Canucks if he was available for a reasonable price.
