CHI traded Saad because he was looking for 6 yrs with AAV of $6.5M. May have been an offer sheet coming tomorrow from a team with those #s.

Dano could be huge for chicago, i think it's a fair deal. Anisimov will be solid 2C for them as well.

Dano is coming off his rookie season where he played in 35 games for Columbus and had 21 points as a 20 yr old (.600 ppg).


Saad at the same age 27 in 46 (.587 ppg)

Dano is a center and I'd guess they see him as their future/current #2 depending on Richards.

Anisimov could be their 2/3 center and replace Kruger who's do for a raise.

Morin a 3rd liner

Tropp good 3rd/4th line guy

Morin & Tropp are 4th liners, not top9
Anisimov is a significant downgrade from Saad IMO
We'll see how Dano works out. He's promising. I'm guessing he's the key to that trade.

The Hawks prob can't fit Seabrook under the Cap after this year if they sign Saad
Although I think I'd have rather moved Hossa next offseason to make it work

Dano is the key as he'll replace Saad.
Anisimove replaces Richards and or Kruger
Morin can put up points if given the chance as he has showed it in the AHL.
Tropp is a 3rd/4th line guy that is way cheaper than Carcillo

Yea i agree. Chicago the way they are structured seems like they can slot in a new young guy or two and develop while they produce. Teravainen is gonna be nasty for them going down the line.

Lewis Gross, agent for Brandon Saad, disputes that they asked for a 6-year deal. Won't say how many years but six wasn't discussed.
