According to most sources, Harrington has a ceiling of a number 4, but most likely a 5-6... That is now according to futures the best d prospect they have?... - aminnes
Pittsburgh has nothing left to offer anyone now.
This is it lol |

That is his value RIGHT NOW. The leafs forced their own hand in trading him right now - mycokes
I'm not excited about the return either but what really limited his value was the trade restriction. Pitt seemed to be the only team on the list with serious interest - which is exactly why Kessel wanted the list. Control. That list wasn't going anywhere so there was no guarantee they'd ever get better value than they did today.
It basically boiled down to getting a good, not great, deal today and moving the rebuild forward.
I'm more pissed that Bozak is still a Leaf. Come the (frank) on ….trade that Ikea coffee table.

He's already gone. Bozak and Seguin would become very close in Big D guaranteed. |

I wouldn't be too concerned about that. What today's move should tell you is that the leafs will move people out of town whether or not there is a serious offer on the table. |

That's what I'm saying. Lots of factors went against us getting maximum value for a top 10 scorer. Pittsburgh's prospect pool had nothing of value but those 4 assets and honestly I'm surprised we got 2 of them. The 1st however, should just be a 1st, no conditions because we're retaining salary. Leafs should have been more forceful on that point. But again, we don't know how negotiations went. |

Apparently Phil disagreed. I bet we hear rumours over the next couple of weeks of a couple of cities PK was unwilling to add to his list. |

I also made that point. If I recall his list was somewhat silly, mostly cap teams that would need to blow up their rosters to take him. Of course you can hound the agent all summer to expand the list but there's no guarantees. |

Yup, the focus is on moving on ….16' draft ….17' draft, etc….
When do we start pumping the tires of those drafts? |
