Franson is a good D man and young, he didn't play very well after the trade to the Preds.

With Frolik and Hamilton, and with a healthy Bennett, the Flames could honestly be a top 4 west team.

They could be better than LA or St. Louis

After last season, I called them this season's dark horse. They couldn't get past Anaheim, but I honestly think they could have given Chicago a run for their money if they had. Overall, a bit too inexperienced this past season, I completely agree with you on next season. They could easily be a top 3 team in the league if they stay healthy and get great goaltending. We will see.

I don't know. Every prospect that was traded has been one that Darcy Regier drafted. Between the trades, things like the Ehrhoff and Hodgson buyouts, it appears that Tim Murray has very little respect for anything Regier did here. Whether that's going to bode well for him in the long run remains to be seen.

I was told that the price/term was too much for the players they were kicking around , ufa's

they had their depth moves ready (rochester) and focused on striking quick


then again this person led me wrong on the head coach
