I have to say, after all the arguing that went on here over the Kassian/Hodgson trade, looks like it turned out to be a wash for both teams. I guess Vancouver actually got something for Kassian, where as we might have for CoHo if Darcy didn't give hime that stupid contract.
Who "won" that trade?
CoHo's bank account.

I would have to say Vancouver. Buf is paying Hodgson not to play for them. Van was able to trade Kassian.
But in reality if Hodgson is signed to a 3-4 year deal, he is probably traded. Thanks Darcy.

I think Foligno and Larsson may be on their way out.
What about trading for the rights to MDZ... - ImThatGuy
Trading Larsson would be a big mistake. This guy is quickly becoming the defensive forward that teams are always looking for. In a couple of years he'll look exactly like O'reilly. Definitely a player we should hold on to.

yeah. The fact that Vancouver was able to trade Kassian vs. the buyout, i would lean towards Vancouver as well. But it's not like either player carried their respective teams to the cup like everyone was expecting right after the trade. People were going off about how bad the teams fleeced each other based on which one they were a fan of. Now that the dust has settled, it pretty much appears that no one was right. And thus, another chapter closes in endless pages of arguing on hockeybuzz. Perspective, I guess...
